About the Assignment
- Be responsible for a subset of scope of the Bayu-Undan CCS scope through Select, FEED and execute phases
- Interface with the engineering contractor(s), ensuring the project scope is delivered against cost and schedule requirements while working with the technical team members to deliver a robust technical outcome
- Assist the project lead in developing tenders and contracts to support Project execution
- Lead and steward the project assurance process including management of change and operational readiness reviews
Tasks include:
- Be the focal point for the assigned scopes and expedite the contractor(s)
- Manage EP contract cost and schedule including variations and TQs raised by Contractor
- Lead reporting on progress and activity for assigned scopes
- Support the Facilities Lead(s) in cost forecasting
- Expedite the Company Engineering team to ensure timely input to Engineering deliverables and technical assurance meets Company requirements
- Coordinate with Facilities Lead on Implementation phase contracts and coordinate engineering deliverables required to support those processes
- Managing the key interface between Engineering contractor and Construction Contractor through transition from Engineering to Implementation
- Manage operations readiness and RFSU reviews and steward technical deliverables to support the process
- Disciplined approach to scope growth and emergent work
This assignment is initially offered for 12 months, engaged via Chandler Macleod.
Location for this assignment is Perth working full-time office hours with some requirement for travel to NT.
About You
- Five to ten years' experience in delivery of O&G operations and projects. Specific experience in LNG/gas processing plants is preferred
- Experience with greenfield and brownfield project execution
- Knowledge of the energy industry and associated legislation, regulations and project management techniques
- Demonstratable knowledge of project development and engineering design processes
- Proven ability to work within and manage dynamic and multi-disciplinary project environments
- Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
Mandatory Tickets / Quals / Certs
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering discipline preferably Mechanical or I&E Engineering
- Engineering chartership with relevant professional body
