About the role
McIlwain are seeking a skilled Senior Project Engineer to provide crucial support to both the Project Manager and Site Supervisor in effectively managing, administering and executing the construction activities for a significant project in the Scenic Rim region.
Duties
- Maintain drawing register & control the issue of new drawings to field staff, sub-contractors & suppliers.
- Keep Project Manager well informed of all matters relating to the projects including any potential problems before they arise.
- Be aware of critical activities and ensure these are given priority and communicate such with the site project supervisor.
- Site visits to co-ordinate and liaise with the client’s representative, Site Supervisors, Foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers, as necessary.
Skills & experience
- Bachelor in Civil Engineering at minimum.
- RPEQ or eligible preferred.
- 10+ years experience in an Engineering capacity.
- Experience in Geotechnical Slope Stabilisation projects highly regarded.
