Client:
Innovative engineering, production, and project delivery company, they provide a complete range of services from site evaluation, engineering design, development, implementation, project management, and build of BULK handling and storage products. They have multiple sites across the country and are looking to expand their Engineering Team with a Senior Project Engineer / Manager.
The Job & You:
- As the Snr Project Manager, you will identify opportunities and determine new and more effective ways to make the projects more efficient, someone with strong continuous improvement skills would ad real value.
- 360 Project Management position, applicants will have at least 5 years of experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders, bid management or contract negotiating, evaluating engineering designs (civil, structural, mechanical), manufacturing to final installation, and build.
- Those experienced in contract negotiation, contractual law, and management of projects will be favored - not essential.
- Effective Project Management to ensure on-time delivery of projects utilising MS Project and in-house ERP / MRP systems.
- Ability to identify, purchase, procure, and supply parts with a key focus on cost efficiency.
- Manage sub-contractors concerning fabrication & installation.
- Oversee SHEQ / EHS as well as QA/AC while on-site
Attributes & Skills:
- Engineering Degree or time served PM - Formal Project Management Education highly desirable.
- An excellent understanding of steel fabrication, mechanical, and structural engineering.
- Strong commercial acumen, communication, and organisational skills.
