The opportunity:
Our client is a respected and highly sought after national tier 1 civil contractor, who are looking to bring onboard an experienced Senior Project Engineer, to join their Major Projects – Infrastructure Services team in Brisbane. This is a unique opportunity to join a market leader to lead design and construct road projects in a safety-focused environment.
The role involves overseeing projects from inception to completion, maintaining stakeholder relationships, and fostering a safety-oriented culture. The ideal candidate will have a background in civil/mining or airport projects, with strong leadership and analytical skills.
This role is ideal for someone who has flexibility to travel – as there will be a mix of FIFO / DIDO regional projects to deliver across the state. It offers great LAFHA, uplifts, weekends rates and endless career progression opportunities in their highly sought after national operations.
We are looking for someone who is ready to grow and develop with this incredible ‘major projects’ team – and also comes with proven local civil road infrastructure / asphalt experience. Our client is after someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and make an impact whilst leading, developing and mentoring a dynamic team of engineers.
If FIFO/ DIDO is not your cup of tea – our client also has an opportunity to join their Sunshine Coast team projects and design team as an SPE – leading a strong team of engineers, whilst being the interface between internal teams and the client. This role is an 80 % office based opportunity – where you will utilise your design capabilities and delivery side experience – whilst mentoring and developing a tight knit team of civil engineers.
