About your new role:

Working out of Newstead, Rockhampton, Toowoomba or Townsville you’ll support a team of Engineers to facilitate Multi-Million Dollar major projects to deliver Queensland renewable energy targets and QEJP program.

You’ll review and endorse technical concept scopes and business cases whilst driving efficiencies and optimising ways of working to deliver quality services and outcomes.

As a Senior Engineer you’ll play a pivotal role developing and training our Customer Connections Development Engineers and Project Officers to ensure the team’s skills and knowledge evolve to meet ongoing Customer technical requirements and industry direction.

In this role you’ll have the flexibility of working from both home and office. You must have the ability to set up an ergonomic workspace (at your own cost) and we’ll provide you with a brand-new laptop and the latest i-phone.

The remuneration for your new role is between $164k - 181k plus 12.75% super for a 9-day fortnight and between $186k - $204k plus 12.75% super for a 10-day fortnight. The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of the successful applicant’s knowledge, skills and competencies that are required in this position. Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Energy Queensland Union Collective Agreement 2020.

About you:

You’re well known for your expert experience in Engineering concepts, the coordination of work and the application of the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of electrical network infrastructure ranging from LV to 220kV.

You hold a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, acceptable for membership of Institution of Engineers Australia in the Professional Engineering category and equivalent demonstrated experience. You're a Registered Professional Engineer in Queensland (RPEQ).

You’re highly experienced within the field have the capabilities to coordinate work and mitigate situations if required to keep projects within scope and deliver within agreed timeframes.

Additionally, you have a passion for developing and coaching high performing professional Engineers to achieve personal and professional success and you’ve had previous experience leading and delivering outcomes.
