About the role:,
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineers & Structural Engineers to join our dynamic team. Offering a career path into project management, the successful candidate will be involved with a variety of tasks including weekly budget reporting, procurement, client liaison, labour planning, creating and implementing project documentation, QA/QC, organising work fronts and planning work.
Key Responsibility Areas:

- Provide project support and assistance through the ownership and delivery of defined projects with best practice, client standards and the agreed outcomes and business benefits.
- Prepare documentation including project plans, Gantt charts and specifications for projects.
- Interact daily with Site Supervisors and Project Manager and other project personnel, provide assistance and technical support.
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects.
- Assist to coordinate all project elements including QA/QC, logistics, reporting, compliance, subcontractor management, equipment control, supplies and project management administration.
- Provide timely and efficient coordination and dissemination of project material and project support by undertaking administrative project tasks including managing and maintaining project briefs, project scheduling, action logs, budgets, and performance monitoring of projects.
Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Asset Remediation, Infrastructure or Defense environment.
- Relevant degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- A proactive and professional Project Engineer with the proven ability to communicate with all stakeholders including clients, consultants, and operational staff alike.
- Experience in monitoring & managing budgets.
- NACE 1 or 2 certified, highly desirable.
- Possess technical knowledge in coatings, surface preparation, management of hazardous substances and application processes.
- Familiar with Quality systems - progressing, ITPs, QA/QC liaison.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc).
