AddressVectiq are looking for experienced Project Lead with Baseline, or higher security clearance to work as part of a collaborative and highly motivated team within one of the largest Federal Government departments, across multiple locations - ACT, QLD, or NSW.

About the role
This is a hands-on delivery role accountable for the high level team planning and the subsequent day to day steering and dependency management. Working closely with the Product Manager and the wider team, the Senior Project Lead is expected to set the tone for delivery success.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the product manager to contribute to business engagement.
- Review and ensure the necessary processes, standards and controls are in place for planning, monitoring and reporting for the team.
- Lead high level team planning, in quarterly cycles aligned to a rolling annual plan, against tranche commitments, including dependency identification and resource availability.
- Steer prioritised time-bound and highly interdependent product teams.
- Ensure the right processes and technology have been put in place ensuring the team can continuously deliver product at an agreed performance level and quality standard.
- Monitor and guide the team to identify, capture, document and escalate emerging issues and new risks and plans to resolve or treat them.
- Represent the team as required in necessary management, leadership and governance forums.
- Lead the team to support program planning and program mechanisms.
- Interact with other stakeholders across the wider business to ensure achievability of and alignment of plans and resources.
Skills required
- Strong track record in large scale digital transformational program delivery against plan.
- Demonstrable experience in business related transformations with evidence-based capability of being able to guide teams in translating business outcomes and challenges into digital and service outcomes
- A proven track record of working with agile and multi-Disciplinary teams.
- Extensive experience in leading product teams with the demonstrated ability to de-silo and engender collaboration and unity.
- Exceptional program ownership experience with strong capability across program scope – e.g., budgets, scheduling, risk, and governance.
- Strong stakeholder management capability working with senior executives as well as product teams.
- Excellent commercial and business acumen with strong attention to details.
- An outstanding communicator that can effectively influence with or without authority.
- A down-to-earth approach with excellent people management skills
- Knowledge of the Digital Service Standard is desirable.
