Remuneration package of up to $149,516 p.a., comprising base salary range of $122,108 - $131,044 p.a. (AO7), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).

About the role
- Proactively lead and manage project management activities, in line with the Queensland Health project management methodology (project lifecycle), by developing formal project plans, formal governance projects, budgets, supporting documentation, issues and risk management, records and registers.
- Provide effective budgetary, financial and technical planning in order to enable the smooth operation of the projects.
- Manage projects by monitoring and reporting on project related trends and performance against project plans and budgets and identify risks to the project and coordinate and lead discussions with key stakeholder on critical issues and risks.
- High level knowledge of project and program management methodologies in addition to demonstrated high level experience in leading and designing small to large scale complex projects.
- High level experience in preparing, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on complex program/project budgets and knowledge of financial pressures and constraints impacting on delivery.
- Ability to lead and manage consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams for high performance in line with quality human and financial resource management practices.
- Demonstrated research, analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills including the proven capacity to initiate appropriate strategic and operational responses and corrective and preventative solutions to key issues.
- Whilst not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded i.e. Project Management, Architecture, Engineering.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
- It is a mandatory condition of employment for the employee to be and remain vaccinated against COVID-19
