The Project Manager will lead and manage a critical project on behalf of the Courts and Tribunals Digitisation Program. The Program sits within Reform and Support Services (RSS) within Courts and Tribunals. The Program's priorities include:
- Drive the development and adoption of improved digital solutions and optimise the experience of everyone who interacts with Queensland Courts and Tribunals.
- Deliver several distinct but interrelated programs of work, inclusive of new case management systems, online portals, electronic document and evidence handling, information sharing and data analytics.
- Ensure projects deliver a managed transition to front-line and operational support teams so that impacts to service delivery and other BAU activities are minimised.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders and key subject matter experts to ensure deliverables meet stakeholder needs and are delivered on-time and on budget.
- Managing the budget and plan for the project
- Developing and maintain project management products
- Establishing and maintaining trusted relationships with stakeholders, peers and program members;
- Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout the life cycle; and
- Managing governance oversight, including assurance, risk management, mitigation and reporting for this project.
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers while managing contracts in accordance with departmental standards.
- Ensure strategic linkages and alignment with several related programs and projects of work.
- Project manage a team driving the replacement of a business-critical case management system/
Mandatory Qualifications, Conditions and Requirements
While there are no mandatory qualifications for this role, practical experience in public sector project management and certification in PRINCE2 are preferred.
