Our client is an established and renowned consultancy offering advisory services in supply chain, property and project management. They have a diverse project portfolio spanning commercial, retail, industrial and pharmaceutical just to name a few. They are now looking for an experienced Senior / Project Managerto join their successful and client focused team.
As the Senior / Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of a large scale New Build industrial project with a high element of automation and cutting edge of technology. Having experience running jobs through the full 360 project life cycle is ideal.
Candidates can come from a consultancy or head contractor background and ideally have some base build experience.
The company holds high value in the stakeholder management element of the job, the ability communicate both verbally and written and client facing interactions coupled with a strong base technical knowledge base as well as design and the ability to administer contracts.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Client management and consultation
- Project Planning/Feasibility studies
- Risk Management
- Value Engineering
- Design Management and Value Engineering
- Procurement of construction services
- Cost control and cost reporting and superintendent
- Commissioning and post contract duties for handover
- Oversight and delivery of the project
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or similar
- Minimum 5 - 10 years+ experience within the construction industry
- Superintendent skills
- Proven knowledge of contract administration and base build construction
- Strong negotiation skills
- Sound understanding of overall construction programmes and plans
- Able to identify key client and builder obligations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build rapport at all levels
- Advanced computer literacy
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel
