Senior Project Officer
Location: Murrumbidgee/Far West/Western District (Negotiable)
Temporary Opportunity
Grade 9/10 – $116,211 - $128,061 p.a. + Superannuation
Your role
This role is critical in supporting the development of systems and initiatives to ensure Murrumbidgee Far West district are able to provide services to children and young people at risk of harm, and already within the OOHC system. The role will undertake a range of reform projects to improve business outcomes within the units and also more broadly within the district.
The role also has a policy context to it and comprehensive writing and communication skills are essential, in particular within the reporting environment that sits across OOHC. The primary stakeholder for the unit is DCJ Contract Managers and there are continued opportunities to improve the interactions with this function and achieve better outcomes for the unit and clients.
What you’ll do
The role sits within the Murrumbidgee/Far West district, reporting to the Director, Community Services.
You will perform analysis of performance data and contribute to the exchange of this business intelligence within the district. In addition, you will contribute to the design and development of system improvements.

Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in a relevant field with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
Significant experience in project management
Exceptional stakeholder collaboration skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
