- Work with a team of property specialists responsible for managing the national property portfolio for Amplitel’s infrastructure assets
- Responsible for end-to-end management of the Property Consents process
- Assessing tenure records/leases to determine site access, consent for works, and sharing
- Obtaining timely Property Consents in accordance with tenure documentation and line with business and customer objectives
- Engagement with landowners and their representatives from private owners though to councils and government agencies
- Securing additional ground lease space (lease expansion) when required to facilitate colocation or to accommodate additional equipment for existing customers
- Minimise ongoing rental costs relating to Amplitel’s property expenses through lease renegotiations and renewals as opportunities arise through engagement on access and consents
- Continuous improvement and automation of property colocation and compound expansion processes
- Internal and external stakeholder management including detailed management reporting and presentation on status and forecasting
- Trouble shooting of difficult landowner consents, including escalation as required, and resolution of site access issues to secure access for Amplitel, its customers and contractors
- Notifying relevant Amplitel stakeholders (e.g. site share/planning/deployment/Amplitel Legal) of Land Access Notices served on Amplitel
- Ensuring Land Access Notices and Native Title Claims are managed in accordance with the applicable process, legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Property, Legal, Business or Commercial)
- Experience in managing high transaction volumes, or large property portfolios, covering both freehold and leasehold sites
- Strong operational skills and ability to meet operational targets
- Personal authenticity and ability to influence and stakeholders both internally and externally to achieve outcomes in complex and regulated environments
- Ability to deliver structured thinking in a variety of contexts with advanced problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with stakeholders, operational staff, vendors, customers and senior management
- Ability to multitask and navigate competing priorities
- Communications Infrastructure owner industry experience specifically in site sharing/co-location an advantage
- Experience in Telecommunications and/or infrastructure management
- Project Management qualifications are highly regarded
