The Opportunity:
This is a pivotal role in which you will hold responsibility for the co-management of the Holcim ANZ property portfolio. This is an extensive and varied portfolio - comprising both freehold and leasehold property and including industrial and commercial assets. The role will see you proactively manage a selection of assets and will require you to identify and implement value add opportunities to the benefit of the business and or the portfolio.
You will ensure best practice property management methods are used uniformly across the portfolio, assist with integrating the Holcim Australia and the Holcim New Zealand property portfolios together under one management model and work closely with internal key stakeholders and foster, maintain and grow relationships with external stakeholders.
Further and detailed accountabilities are found in the Position Description which is available upon request and will include:
Be responsible for all aspects of property management including but not limited to; lease negotiation, lease administration, end of lease obligations, stakeholder management and occupancy issues.
Assist with due diligence on site acquisitions.
Instructing and managing the legal review of property related matters.
Instructing and managing external property valuers where required.
Tenant Management, including the collection of rental income.
Ongoing management of the Property Management System to ensure accuracy of data and critical date management.
Assisting with the development and preparation of appropriate financial models to assist management in taking informed property related decisions.
Reviewing legislative compliance and property procedures constantly.
Maintaining a safe system of work in the workplace and complying with all relevant safety, health and environment legislation.
PLEASE NOTE: This role can be located in either Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane
About you:
A Property related degree (essential).
Credible and relevant work experience in large corporate real estate environments in the industrial or related sectors (essential).
Proven ability to network and communicate with internal customers and other senior stakeholders.
Proficient in the Google Suite, Smart sheet.
Prior experience in SAP (preferred).
You will be a hands-on, passionate and customer focused professional with the ability to deal at all levels and have a strong commitment to ensuring a safe work environment.
