The ORS Psychology team is expanding and we are seeking our next superstar to join the team! You will be joining a national team of 200+ Psychologists working under the NDIS and private sector performing clinical services to participants aged 0-65 with various diagnoses and disability types. You will have the opportunity to develop, extend and deepen your clinical expertise in a friendly, well-supported team and in an organisation that values your growth, passion and skills.

While providing psychological practice you will be using CBT, ACT & DBT, and person-centred and trauma-informed approaches through ongoing psychological counselling. ORS also offers a full range of psychological assessments, including mental health, IQ, psychoeducational, school readiness, decision-making capacity, autism and ADHD assessments. There will be the opportunity to receive training to develop your skills in this area and administer such assessments to applicable clients. Experience in the provision of cognitive and autism assessments will be looked upon favourably, as will endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology, Clinical Psychology or Educational and Developmental Psychology.

You will work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, community, and/or ORS offices.

ORS are also looking for Board approved AHPRA Supervisors to undertake supervision of several of our Provisional Psychologists. ORS employs over 180 Provisional Psychologists across the country who are completing their 4+2 & 5+1 internship programs as well as Registrar's.

Learning and Development

At ORS we truly value the clinical and professional development of our staff. That is why we have a dedicated Learning & Development Manager in the Psychology division who possesses 14 years of clinical experience in the disability field, an extensive background in autism research, and impressive qualifications. You will be able to connect with the L&D Manager from the Psychology division, and L&D Managers in other divisions, in one on one and group training sessions, plus have the ability to email or pick up the phone at any time to ask their advice on complex cases. This resource is in addition to the many Managers and Team Leaders we have on staff!

A few requirements

Tertiary qualifications in Psychology
Registration or ability to become registered with AHPRA
Board approved AHPRA Supervisor (or ability to become registered)
Minimum three years experience working in your field
A car and licence
A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to get one for a client facing role (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
