About the Project
This is an opportunity to join a once in a lifetime Tasmanian Project supporting the Construction of the iconic New Bridgewater Bridge.
You will be helping to shape Tasmania’s largest Infrastructure project while contributing to and growing with a highly motivated, multi-disciplined and diverse Project Delivery Team.

• Ability to contribute to the ongoing development of the project health and safety systems

Responsibilities include:

• Provide advice and support to the Project Quality Manager for the implementation, review, and revision of the Quality Management Plan (QMP).
• Effectively coordinate implementation of the Quality Management System across all facets of the Projects purpose built Precast Yard
• Timely progression of Worklot Packages for handover
• Interact with Managers, Engineers and field personnel to implement the Quality Management System and coordinate on-site quality assurance activities within the Projects Precast Yard Facility.
• Undertake surveillance of concrete segment fabrication
• Ensure compliance with Project Technical Specifications
• Identifying Non-conformances
• Undertake Audits and Surveillance as per approved Schedule (prefer Auditor Qualified, but we can put them through training for the right candidate)

About You
To be successful in this role you will ideally possess the following:

• Tertiary Degree (Engineering Bachelor level) or relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in construction working with a Quality Management System that has been certified by an accredited third party.
• Experience in quality management roles and activities.
• Thorough understanding of ISO 9000/1 principles.
• Practical experience which includes but not limited to:
• Manufacturing of precast concrete units
• Manufacture of concrete
