Reporting to the R&D Quality Compliance Manager, you will be a key compliance representative for the new manufacturing facility located in Melbourne. Your duties may include but are not limited to:
- Compliance activities relating to the qualification and validation program for the new manufacturing facility and testing labs
- Management of review and approval of key GMP documentation - SOP’s, Quality Risk Assessments, etc.
- Liaise with R&D departments regarding quality related issues associated deviations, change controls and out of specifications
- Provide compliance specialist advice on qualification and validation issues for the new manufacturing facility
- Actively participate in problem solving and identifying opportunities for improvement

To be successful in this position you will have:
- A degree in a relevant science, validation, or engineering discipline
- 3 – 5 years of experience within a GMP environment, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry (QA or validation experience is preferred)
- Good interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work well independently and to self-motivate
- Well-developed organizational and time management skills
