We are currently seeking applications for a Senior Quality Chemist to join our team at Wilmar BioEthanol on a 12 Month Contract period to cover parental leave. This role also offers flexibility with a four-day work week. The successful applicant will coordinate and oversee all the regulatory, specification and technical requirements of all product lines ensuring that customer and market requirements are met.
Responsibilities of this role will include:
- Manage daily laboratory operations ensuring all quality requirements are met
- Maintain, calibrate and conduct verification checks on laboratory instruments and equipment
- Maintain records of all lab calibration compliance and documentation
- Ensure product integrity is maintained during all modes of transportation to and from the Yarraville site
Something about you
You will have:
- A Bachelor of Science or other related discipline
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a QC laboratory
- GC and UV VIS Spectrophotometry experience with knowledge of wet chemistry
