They employ Quantity surveyors, Chartered building surveyors, Building consultants, Project & Development managers, Specialist tax surveyors, Sustainability consultants, NABERS accredited consultants & Green star accredited consultants working on projects across every building sector, including residential, commercial, retail, sport/recreation, hospitals, medical. aged care, retirement living, education, social & affordable housing, industrial, life sciences, student accommodation, food processing, etc. Currently, there is an opportunity for a Senior QS to join their Brisbane team.
Role:
- Cost estimate/Cost reports(Pre-contract and post-contract, drawdown reports) Quantity take-off and cost estimate via software
- Assessment of variations, claims, and progress claims
- Risk assessment (Risk identification/Qualitative and quantitative risk assessment/Contingency)
- Amongst other responsibilities…….
Person:
- A relevant degree supported by significant experience in quantity surveying
- Substantial experience on projects within the built environment, having worked in a similar project-based contract and financial management position
- Additionally, expertise across contract management, construction law and quantity surveying would be advantageous
- Experience across major building project is essential, so too is the ability to drive forecast and internal reporting to range of stakeholders
- Outstanding interpersonal, liaison, networking, team and individual leadership skills
- An ability to work to deadlines and manage conflicting priorities in a high-volume work environment
- Developing working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion
- 6-10 years project management experience delivering highly complex and technical projects
