Senior RC Drilling 

Our client provides a complete range of drilling and Iron Ore mining services International.  With operations expanding they are looking for experienced Senior RC Drillers to work on a major project in Africa on an 8 and 4 roster and great competitive remuneration package + annually bonus 

Responsibilities include:

• Manage the drill rig and crews whilst delivering safe drilling operations and client expectations
• Consistently apply exceptional drilling practices and techniques
• Ensure personnel compliance with the companies HSE regulations and site specific rules 
• Training of local employees 

About You

• Must hold a 7-8 years’ experience in RC drilling is required. 
• Must hold at least 5 years iron ore mining and preferred international projects experience. 
• Experience working in Australian Mining Exploration 
• Senior RC drilling experience and mobile carrier mounted diamond drill rigs, IT forklift to remove rigs
• Proven experience in either RC exploration or grade control drilling
• Certificate II or Certificate III in Drilling Operations
• Booster and Auxiliary experience essential
• Mechanical knowledge/background and a willingness to learn
• Demonstrated leadership in Safety, Health, Environment and Quality
• Demonstrated ability to empower local communities and hold 'cultural awareness' in high regard
• Working experience with diverse cultures with diverse cultures is preferred and must be able to communicate in English
• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical
