We’re excited to be recruiting for this new role within our Moorabbin Head Office that reports to our Country Manager and is part of a highly motivated Retail team. This is a pivotal role that will provide support across the Amer Sports ANZ business with a predominant focus on Salomon and Wilson.
About the Opportunity:

As the Senior Retail Manager, you will be at the forefront of our retail expansion strategy. You will lead the planning and execution of new store openings, ensuring each location reflects the brands’ spirit and delivers an exceptional customer experience. You’ll also be responsible for building and nurturing a high-performing retail team that embodies our values and drives our success.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive retail expansion strategy for Salomon and Wilson, including managing the store opening process.
- Recruit, train, and lead a passionate and dynamic retail team. Foster a positive and engaging work environment that encourages growth and development.
- Ensure all stores operate smoothly and efficiently, maintaining high standards of customer service, visual merchandising, and inventory management.
- Represent the brands with authenticity and enthusiasm. Create memorable experiences for our customers and inspire them to embrace their outdoor passions.
- Monitor and analyse store performance metrics, implementing strategies to drive sales and achieve targets.
About You:
- Proven experience in a Senior Retail leadership role, preferably within the outdoor or sporting goods industry.
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing new store openings.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for outdoor sports and the Salomon brand.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
