AddressCochlear has an exciting Senior Reward Specialist opportunity within our People & Culture Reward team. In this newly created role, you will touch all aspects of remuneration including providing compensation advice to our P&C team, overseeing the Benefits program in Australia as well as contributing to exciting regional and global reward initiatives that support Cochlear's growth.
This role reports to our Regional Talent Reward Manager (APAC) and will be based in our Sydney HQ.
Responsibilities include:
- Support the business and People & Culture teams with reward recommendations
- Provide remuneration support including market data development and salary/benefits benchmarking
- Conducting job evaluations to support the sizing of new or modified positions, underpinned by Mercer IPE methodology
- Oversee APAC benefits and Recognition and addressing any concerns on market competitiveness
- Manage Cochlear's Australian Benefits (including supporting vendor and employee queries, education activities and insurance renewals)
- Create insightful reports on compensation activities across the region to inform team decision making and future initiatives
- Lead small to medium sized regional or global reward projects to support Cochlear's reward strategy and business objectives.

- Experience conducting Job Evaluations
- Working with vendors to deliver exciting engagement initiatives to our employees that promote uptake and awareness.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Advanced excel and data analytics expertise
- Understanding of market dynamics and remuneration elements in Australia and/or Asia Pacific markets
- Experience with the management and understanding of reward plans and benefits, and relevant finance, reward or remuneration processes.
