About your new role
The Senior Risk Adviser will spearhead various essential tasks in executing the department's risk management strategy and framework. This branch is responsible for overseeing the department's corporate management functions, encompassing strategy, planning, reporting, risk management, business continuity, and engagement.
What you will need to exceed

• Possess the capability to offer expert risk guidance to both the department and portfolio entities concerning risk management.
• Produce top-notch analyses, reports, and briefings related to risk management.
• Create, organise, and deliver content and programs for risk training.
• Assist in the formulation and execution of the risk management strategy and its associated initiatives.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with departmental stakeholders to enhance effective risk management and reporting.
• Actively review, question, and assess the accuracy of risk information.

Desirable

• Experience in working for government
• Business Partnering experience in risk management.
