Senior Salesforce Developer With Aws/Api Integration

Role: Salesforce/AWS Developer
Daily Rate: $1100 (incl. Super)
Contract Length: 6-months with high chance of extension
Location: Parramatta/WFH

Key Responsibilities:

Salesforce Technical Design:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Create data models, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate Salesforce features, products, and third-party integrations.

Custom Development:

• Develop and maintain custom Salesforce applications, including Apex code, Lightning components, and triggers.
• Implement complex business logic and automation using Apex and Flow.

Integration:

• Design and build integrations between Salesforce and other systems using Salesforce Connect, APIs, and middleware.
• Ensure data consistency and integrity across integrated systems.

Security and Access Control:

• Implement and manage security features to protect sensitive data.
• Monitor and address security vulnerabilities and compliance issues.

Data Management:

• Manage data migration and cleanup processes to maintain data quality.
• Create and maintain data import/export routines and transformation processes.

Performance Optimization:

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Salesforce applications.
• Tune queries and configurations for optimal performance.

Release Management:

• Lead the release management process, including version control and deployment.

Quality Assurance and Testing:

• Develop unit test plans and execute testing.
• Ensure changes do not introduce defects or regressions.

Documentation:

• Maintain technical documentation and create user guides.

Problem Solving:

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce functionality and integrations.

Selection Criteria:

• Minimum 5 years' experience delivering complex Salesforce solutions.
• Experience with AWS cloud-native services.
• Understanding of environment and release management best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Salesforce certifications desirable.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns and protocols.

Key Skills - AWS:

• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other cloud-native services.
• Understanding of contemporary software engineering practices.
• Knowledge of integration patterns and standards.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Mandatory Deliverables:

• Design technical implementation for Salesforce and AWS APIs.
• Present technical design across various team forums.
• Document technical design and details.
• Review and groom user stories in JIRA.
• Get Enterprise Architecture approval on major design elements.
• Plan, review, and support test cases.
• Plan, review, and execute CI/CD tasks.
• Collaborate with other squad members for integrated solutions.
• Attend program meetings and forums as required.
• Ensure accountability for assigned scope delivery.
