Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scrum Master / Agile Project Manager with expertise in projects that include the establishment of could-native infrastructure and operations, along with bespoke enterprise application development. This role will play a critical part in guiding our cross-functional teams through agile software delivery while managing complex customer relationships. The customer is a household name in Australia, and is a complex organisation with many stakeholders across many departments.

Responsibilities:
 

• Lead and coach cross-functional teams through the agile software development process, as they implement bespoke software applications along with introducing cloud-native infrastructure and dev-ops processes to the customer for the first time.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders on forward iteration and release planning.
• Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for our clients, fostering strong and collaborative relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to promote transparency, inspection, and adaptation.
• Collaborate closely with product owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment on the product backlog and planned releases
• Implement and advocate for DevOps principles and practices, including continual improvement of the software delivery methodology.
• Work closely with leaders across the customer's business to ensure alignment at both the strategic and tactical levels.
• Actively monitor and communicate project status and milestones to stakeholders, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification.
• Proven experience serving as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager for software development teams, with a focus on bespoke software development within a large, complex organisation.
• Experience introducing cloud-native technologies to an organisation and establishing dev-ops mindset is an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively navigate and negotiate with clients and stakeholders at senior levels.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a strong focus on building positive, resilient, high-performing teams.
