The Client
This Government Agency is well established in Queensland and is in charge of all the infrastructures throughout.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Supervisor or someone who has worked in Building and Construction. This is not a FIFO role however travel is an integral activity for this role and will require overnight stays of up to 4 nights (or as negotiated). As the majority of this will be road travel, you will need to possess a current Driver's License. There will also be occasions where you will be required to travel by (light) aircraft.

• Understanding of contract management
• Understanding of Construction Project completions, O & M Manuals
• Working closely with on-site foreperson assisting with WH&S requirements
• Preparation of RFI’s, EOT, variations etc.
• Computer literate
• Positive attitude
• General building knowledge an advantage
• Good record keeping
• Good communication

About You

• Have construction industry related trade qualification (highly desirable)
• Have current Workplace Health & Safety General Safety Induction Card
• Must be able to read and interpret construction drawings
• Must have good knowledge of Building Code and relevant Australian Standards
• Contract management experience preferred
• Good knowledge in construction industry standard building practices
• Good knowledge of construction industry Work Health and Safety
