Senior Site Supervisor

Downer has a long-standing partnership with Logan Water, WSP and Cardno to deliver asset management, infrastructure planning, design, project delivery and organisational development services for the City of Logan. The project is a fast-paced and highly rewarding line of works.

Due to expansion, a Beenleigh-based Senior Site Supervisor position has become available. The successful candidate will deliver optimal project outcomes on site, by proving leadership to Site Supervisors and Work Crews. This role will provide stability and longevity whilst delivering meaningful work, to the greater Logan community.

Responsibilities include:

• Maximise program efficiencies through coordination and scheduling of resources, equipment and materials.
• Lead and foster innovation culture to influence efficiencies, consistencies and improvements across project work practices.
• Ensure compliance across statutory requirements, design specifications, quality management and Zero Harm practices and procedures.
• Deliver Program to meet and exceed expectations from clients, communities, social responsibility, environmental management and all other legislative requirements.
• Proactively build team capacity through mentoring, development goal setting, conducting reviews, promoting empowerment and accountability.

About You:

• Educational qualification in frontline management or equivalent
• Must possess all relevant qualifications and licenses deemed necessary by legislation and/or the client
• Supervisory experience in the water or civil construction sector (water experience advantageous).
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated through stakeholder relationships and team member development.
