What your day will look like:
- Feature Development and Enhancement: Focus on the maintenance and implementation of new features for our main product, utilizing VB.NET, MongoDB, WinForms, and ASP.NET
- Collaborative Architectural Contributions: Contribute to architectural decisions, offering insights and suggestions to enhance our codebase and infrastructure
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Systematically document features and systems, ensuring knowledge transfer and clarity within the team
- Unit Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain unit tests, playing a key role in upholding the quality and reliability of our software
- Support and Mentorship: Provide support and mentorship to junior developers, sharing expertise and encouraging their professional development
- Programming Excellence: Adhere to S.O.L.I.D. programming principles, ensuring high-quality software development practices
- Agile Teamwork: Actively participate and collaborate within our Agile development team, utilizing SCRUM methodologies
- Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work harmoniously and effectively within a team, valuing collective success
- Proactive Communication: Confident in sharing opinions on architectural matters and contributing to team discussions
- Passion for Development: Demonstrated passion for high-quality programming and continuous learning in the field

- Advanced VB.NET or C# Skills: At least 5 years of experience in VB.NET or C# programming
- ASP.NET Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in ASP.NET
- WinForms Development: (Nice to Have) Experience in building desktop applications using WinForms
- Object-Oriented Design and SOLID Principles: Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design and SOLID principles
- Agile Experience: Proven track record in Agile environments, preferably with experience in SCRUM
- Bachelors degree or advanced degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline is highly advantageous
- Live within commutable distance of our Adelaide office
- Must be legally authorized to work in Australia
