About The Opportunity
Our Micromine Alastri team are currently seeking a Senior Software Developer to join them. In this role you will work on a range of projects to develop and deliver our Micromine Alastri suite of software products.
Micromine Alastri is an integrated, visually stunning, open-pit mine planning software that is fast, intuitive, and able to model the complex open-pit mines of tomorrow.
Reporting directly to the Software Development Team Lead, your key responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting functional requirements and enhancing Micromine Alastri’s software design.
- Developing efficient data processing algorithms.
- Developing quality and maintainable code in C#.
- Developing software that’s localisable and user friendly.
- Helping support clients as required.
About You
This role will be ideal for someone with a background in commercial end-to-end software development.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
- Senior experience developing desktop applications using C#.
- A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, or alternatively, relevant industry experience.
- Understanding of algorithmic complexity and a general sound knowledge of mathematics.
- Understanding of computational geometry.
