This role reports to the App Engineering Manager.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME AT UBANK
- Working as part of a Scrum Team
- Taking ownership of complex problems with the ability to self-manage and coordinate all development efforts in line with our plan
- Write code and automated test scripts for solutions
- Design and implement software, including bug resolution
- Analyse data
- Communicate with project teams and raises risks and issues that impact the project
- Work with NPM and CLI tooling
- Work with Cloud computing (AWS/Google or Azure)
WHAT MAKES YOU TICK
- You love learning everything there is to learn about new ways of doing things
- You’re a financial savvy friend who loves to talk money
- You’re warm and human but you know how to represent a company professionally.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO UBANK
- 5-8 years experience, with exposure to driving tech decisions and developing junior engineers
- You have an advanced talent for Angular 8+, ECMAScript 6, CSS and HTML5
- You have experience with TypeScript, SASS, Webpack, RxJS and NgRx
- You have some experience with Hybrid front-end development i.e. Ionic/Cordova
- You love responsive front-end development in Web, Mobile, Web Services
- You have NodeJS experience, AWS Serverless is a bonus
- You have knowledge of UX design and good understanding of web accessibility (WCAG 2.0)
- You have some experience in building a component library (design system) to be used across multiple projects
