Senior Solicitor - Special Counsel

Your new role 

A unique opportunity awaits for a Senior Solicitor (Special Counsel) for a new role located in Canberra, ACT.

What you'll need to succeed 

• Qualified solicitor, minimum of 4-5 years PQE 
• Appear in counsel in courts and tribunals
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Able to handle complex legal matters
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to analyse information concisely and provide pragmatic and adaptable legal advice
• Proven experience handling a variety of insurance claims, with a focus on statutory classes, public liability, medical negligence, and historical abuse claims. (highly advantageous)
• Excellent communication and advocacy abilities
