What you'll be doing:
NBMLHD is currently seeking a Radiographer Level 3, Grade 3 to join our team in Perinatal Ultrasound at Nepean Hospital.
Perinatal Ultrasound is a tertiary level referral centre for Obstetric and Gynaecological ultrasound within Nepean Hospital and the applicant will be required to perform obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound examinations in accordance with ASUM guidelines.
This position requires appropriate interaction with patients, relatives and other members of staff, and will also require our preferred candidate to be involved in teaching of students as well as participation in research projects within the department.
This position will be Temporary Full Time, with a contract end date of 17/12/2024.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
Selection criteria to be addressed: * Under Graduate Degree (Medical Radiation Science for appointment as a Medical Radiation Scientist) and Post Graduate Qualification in Medical Ultrasound as recognised by ASAR

  • Registration with ASAR
  • Demonstrated high standard of knowledge, clinical experience in obstetric ultrasound across a range of examinations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, instruct and trainee sonographers and medical staff.
  • Demonstrated well-developed problem-solving skills.
  • Evidence of participation in a continuing Professional Development (CPD) program.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
