Senior Specialist, Technology Risk

One of our clients is looking to hire IT Senior Security, Technology and Risk Specialist for a long term contract based in Adelaide

MUST HAVE:

Candidates based in Adelaide (Remote working is not available)

Skills Required:

• Extensive experience in technically leading, delivering and monitoring the development, planning, implementation and evaluation of complex ICT security and risk management related programs, projects and services.
• Extensive experience leading the responsive identification, management and monitoring of complex security threats, breaches and incidents within a large, complex organisation including formulating, implementing, evaluating and reporting on remedial action.
• Demonstrated experience in solutions development, the use of network perimeter security technologies, host-based security products, and the determination and application of appropriate security controls based on a suitable risk assessment methodology.
• Extensive knowledge of security management and system hardening and the standards, tools, methods and processes for the identification, management and monitoring of security threats, breaches and incidents within a large, geographically dispersed and complex organisation.
• Extensive knowledge of information security technologies, systems and practices such as cryptography, access control, firewalls, IPS/IDS, web content filters and host-based security products, and of security prevention, detection and corrective measures and controls.
• Detailed knowledge of project management methodologies, service delivery models, privacy legislation, protective and information security frameworks and associated government policies and related agency procedures and practices.
