We are excited to announce a new NDIS position for an experienced Senior Speech Pathologist to work with a growing team.
The successful candidate will report to the Speech team Leader and work with the existing therapists to support their developmental and supervisory needs and build clinical resources.
This is an exciting opportunity for a therapist looking for a challenge who already has experience with complex supervision in the NDIS space and is keen to assist with the delivery of high quality work.
The candidate requires a background of understanding the NDIS sector and a proven track record of managing caseload work. A high level of clinical knowledge is required for supervision of complex work.
Care Mode's Allied Health team has been established to provide high quality service provision to people living with disabilities and children in the Early Childhood Early Intervention space. The Role:
Plan, deliver and evaluate Speech Pathology services to customers and NDIS participants, which build on family / client strengths, needs and priorities.
Conduct thorough client assessments utilising standardised assessment tools.
Deliver Speech Pathology therapeutic intervention based on assessment findings
Facilitate collaborative short-and long-term goal setting with clients during consultation
Support inclusion and participation in the communities that they choose.
Provide services and supports in collaboration with others. Ensure that positive and productive relationships exist between Care Mode, the local community, and families.
Demonstrate an understanding and ability to provide services and supports within the parameters of the funding available.
Participate in regular professional development opportunities to keep up with current developments.
Fulfil administrative requirements such as data collection and record keeping.
Ensure compliance with our duty of care to clients (Code of Practice).
Ensure services meet quality service standards, and contract agreements.
Engage in continual quality improvement
Fostering and supporting the growth of the team through effective and beneficial clinical supervision, welfare check-ins and debriefs.
Provide well-being support for new graduate/Junior staff
Assist with induction and onboarding processes for new staff
Contribute to the development of resources
Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and education to the staff
Provide clear communication and feedback to the management team
Contributing and collaborating with senior management to develop the allied health team.
