We are seeking an innovative and passionate Consultant Speech Pathologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team. Only a short, relaxed drive out of Perth with flexible work conditions using a hybrid model of service delivery including face to face and remote.
We are looking for someone to deliver exceptional Speech Pathology services to our NDIS participants within a sustainable Collaborative Therapy Model.
About the role:
NDIS Consultant Speech Pathologist role includes:
- Speech and language Assessments and Reassessments;
- NDIS Initial and Final Outcome Reports
- Setting up of Therapy Assistant, Junior Speech Pathologist and Key worker plans
- Mentoring and coordinating Therapy Assistant and Junior Speech Pathologist
Experience and Qualifications:
- Relevant undergraduate Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
- Minimum experience of one year
- Speech Pathology Australia Registration
- Preferred practicum experience working with children with disabilities
- Knowledge of NDIS, individualised planning and funding options
- Experience working alongside an OT and AHA
- Ability to work independently, use initiative and set priorities
- Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to mentor and educate an Allied Health Assistant/Junior Speech Pathologist
