Senior SQL Server Administrator

Overview:
 
HCM Australia has partnered with an organisation who are looking for a Senior SQL Server Administrator to join on a 12-month contract.  You will deliver technical support for SQL server, with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server databases and infrastructure.
 
What you’ll do:

• Provide advanced technical support for various products including Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure, VMware vSphere ESX, and Dell Server Hardware.
• Conduct maintenance, diagnose faults, and implement solutions while ensuring proactive monitoring and reporting.
• Develop and maintain technical solutions aligned with business requirements and contribute to technical documentation.

What you’ll need:

• Must be able to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance
• Demonstrated system administration experience in a Microsoft Enterprise environment, covering traditional server hardware, virtualized, and cloud environments.
• Expertise in the Microsoft technology stack, with a focus on Microsoft SQL and Azure Cloud-based SQL solutions. Additional experience in areas such as Microsoft Windows Server, Server Operating Systems, Clustering, IIS, PowerShell, and Azure Cloud Technologies is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency in developing, implementing, and supporting SQL-based solutions in both on-premises VMware and Azure Cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with support and monitoring tools for Windows-based solutions, including design, implementation, and day-to-day maintenance.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service consistently.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills to foster productive relationships with customers, team members, suppliers, and stakeholders.

• Up to $1560/day + Super depending on experience
