We are looking for a person local to the Phillip Island area with a genuine desire to work in this industry and advance their skillset, with a solid foundation providing excellent customer service. Somebody with roots in our community with plans to stay around for the foreseeable future.
The key responsibilities of this role will be to provide permanent on-site support for one of our clients based in Phillip Island. You will be one of the first points of contact for all our client requests.
To be successful in this role you will have:- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to engage in a friendly, cooperative and constructive manner
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills with first level line technical support troubleshooting abilities
- A demonstrated ability to learn new skills rapidly and apply problem-solving skills
- Provide technical support including identification, diagnosis and resolution for end user-related requests.
- Demonstrated of practical experience supporting Microsoft platforms and applications in commercial environments (i.e. Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2016/2019, Office 365, Active Directory)
- Experience supporting, or knowledge of server operating systems such as Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019
- Hardware break/fix experience
- Experience working within a virtual environment (VMWare)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Exposure to Cloud based products such as Office 365, Azure, AWS
- General networking and associated technologies such as Routers, NAT rules, and VLANs
- Working knowledge of backup software such as Veeam, Shadow Protect and Datto
- Working knowledge scripting languages such as Powershell and Vbscript
- Industry certifications from major vendor such as Microsoft, VMWare, Citrix, and Cisco
- TAFE Information and Communications Technology certifications
To be considered for this role you must possess the right to work in Australia, have a current Police Check, Working With Children Check, had at least the second COVID vaccine, and hold a valid driver’s license.
