Role description:
Due to consistent growth in our transportation business, we are looking for a Senior Structural Drafter/Modelers to join our team in Perth.
Role accountabilities:
- Successfully manage, plan, resource and complete assigned drafting projects within agreed budgets and deadlines;
- Assisting the Project Manager or Package Leads in determining the drafting resources required for a project plan including elements suitable for outsourcing.
- Ensuring the production of project documents that are accurate, clear and concise and compliant with best practice and any other quality standards dictated by the nature of the project.
- Resolving complex technical drafting and design issues; and
- Helping with the coaching and development and the development of capabilities of other Designers/Drafters.
Qualifications & Experience:
First and foremost, you share our passion for improving quality of life. You want to contribute to the changing infrastructure around our state and will come to us with:
- Extensive years of demonstrated drafting experience on bridges, roads and highways projects working in Australia design standards;
- Extensive experience and exposure to Revit and/or MicroStation 2D and 3D software;
- Exposure to Bentley Open Bridge Modelling, Autodesk Infraworks and Inventor is desirable.
- Exposure to Dynamo, Grasshopper and or Generative Component (GC) coding software's is desirable.
- Suitable qualification in CAD/Drafting;
- Proven high level proficiency in Quality Systems Control;
- Ability to develop elements of design from concept sketches to detailed drawings; and
- High attention to detail, excellent client-focus, and ability to deliver quality output within the timeline.
