Form of workZAIT Engineering Solutions is a growing Structural and Civil Engineering Consultancy located in Parramatta.
We welcome a self-motivated Senior Structural Engineer with 5+ years Residential, Commercial and Industrial experience to join our team full time.
This role requires a person with very strong leadership attributes, communication and problem-solving skills, a remarkably high attention to detail, and be able to grow and maintain good client relationships.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- A minimum qualification of Bachelor Degree in Structural Engineering
- Min 5 years of post-graduate experience as a Structural Design Engineer
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of structural design and documentation of reinforced concrete, steel, timber and masonry structures
- Proficiency in structural analysis and modelling using: RAPT, RAM Concept, ETABS, Wallap and Structural Toolkit
- Expert knowledge of the relevant Australian Standards including AS1170, AS3600, AS3700, AS1720, AS4100, AS2870 and the NCC
- A White Card and current NSW Driver’s License
- Permanent Resident or Citizenship status
Desirable but not essential:
- Experience in Civil Design
- Experience in Façade Design
- Experience in AutoCAD/Revit/Bluebeam/Plaxis
- Experience with Microstran
