Based in a vibrant area on the outskirts of the CBD, this small structural and civil specialist consultancy have a history of servicing clients in NSW and beyond that stretches back over 4 decades thus providing a foundation of strong relationships that allow a secure pipeline of work.
They are a close knit team who work hard for each other as well as having a genuine balance in lifestyle which is seen evidently through time in lieu being awarded if you are required to work outside office hours
The Role
With a full order book and multiple further tenders that stretch well into the future, their long-term pipeline of work is guaranteed.
Not wanting to over-stretch their staff and with the growth of the team in mind, a strategic decision has been made to add to their leadership group with the addition of an experienced Senior Structural Engineer.
The Responsibilities
You will utilise a range of software packages to deliver a wide range of building structures projects in both concrete and some structural steel that will include:

• High-rise residential and commercial
• Industrial
• Institutional
• Luxury residential
• Leisure centres and aquatic centres

You will have the experience to work autonomously on your projects but as part of a wider team as needed.
The Requirements
You will be someone who can demonstrate:

• Experience of delivering a range of building structures in Australia
• Experience utilising a range of engineering design software that can include Space Gass, Slabs, TEDS or Mutltiframe (experience in some, not all is required)
• 7 years + experience working for engineering design consultancies which includes Australian experience
• The ability to lead a team and deliver projects with minimal supervision and therefore to have excellent time management skills
• Full working rights in Australia
