We are looking for an experienced Sustainability Consultant to join our team, and support delivery for a growing pipeline of sustainability plans, climate risk, and circular economy work. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support delivery of major infrastructure programs across the water and transport sector.
You will play an active role in the delivery of our projects and support the development of technical and commercial proposals for our valued clients.
As part of this role, you will:
- Lead the development of sustainability plans for infrastructure projects.
- Develop climate risk assessments in alignment with relevant standards and applicable guidance.
- Conduct research and synthesis to inform recommendations and insights for circular economy projects.
- Support the development and delivery of engaging workshops for clients.
- Support the development of high-quality technical fee proposals.
- Act as a client contact for selected programs of work.
- Engage in learning and development to upskill your capabilities.
- Participate in team building initiatives and contribute to a culture of trust, excellence, and care.
What you will bring:
You have a strong background in sustainability consulting and have experience in large-scale infrastructure projects. Prior experience with sustainability rating systems such as ISC shall be viewed positively.
You enjoy working with people and have experience in cross-discipline collaboration. This role requires strong project management skills to deliver sustainability plans and an ability to engage other colleagues in the broader Tonkin business where required to develop technical solutions.
