One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage a Senior Systems Engineerto work as part of an experienced and skilled team. The successful Senior Systems Engineerwill provide a range of services but not limited to, Infrastructure hosted in Azure and on-prem, VMware and end-user systems, with a focus on modelling applications such as R and SAS Viya. The successful Senior Systems Engineerwill be offered an initial 12 month contract with a 12 month extension option.
The successful Senior Systems Engineerwill be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Develop and implement strategies for system enhancements, optimisation, and scalability
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system reliability.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Refresh end-user laptops and build, and manage Desktop and Server SOEs
The successful Senior Systems Engineerwill have experience in the following:
- Experience Building and managing desktop and server SOEs
- Experience developing and implementing VDI modelling solutions
- Experience packaging software applications
- Experience in Azure AD, MECM / Intune, AVD, M365 Apps (One Drive, MS Teams, Office)
