About the Role 

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and qualified control system engineer with a experience in SCADA, PLC, Telemetry, and project execution, who can provide industry-based knowledge and expertise to join our Canberra office.  We are looking for emerging and established engineers looking for entry level positions through to Senior Engineers who can mentor and lead. We are looking for people who want to be a foundation of our exciting new office.

Your role will be to engineer and design technical automation solutions across multiple PLC and SCADA platforms. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment on a range of projects within different sectors.  

Candidate Profile: 

  • You will be degree qualified in Engineering having extensive work experience in Control Systems design, programming and commissioning.
  • We will highly regard candidates with extensive skills and experience in Industrial Control and Automation (SCADA and PLC) including design, software development, testing and commissioning.
  • PLC, SCADA, and HMI experience across the major Vendor platforms - Rockwell, Siemens, and Schneider.
  • Candidates with experience in legacy Control Systems and experience with modernisation strategies will be highly valued.
  • You will have widespread skills and knowledge in electrical design, fault finding and commissioning of industrial automation plants.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
