Senior Tax Accountant Responsibilities ($85k plus Super)
- Prepare and file tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Oversee the management and review of financial records and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
- Conduct comprehensive tax research to ensure compliance with Australian tax regulations and stay updated on legislative changes.
- Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS), Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns, and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns accurately and timely.
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, addressing tax-related inquiries and issues, and offering strategic tax solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior Tax Accountants.
Requirements:
- Understanding of Tax returns, BAS, GST, and FBT in Australia.
- Proficiency in MYOB AE software.
- Australian Tax Experience.
- CA/CPA or willing to undertake.
