**About the Role**
Join our thriving team and continue to grow your career as a Senior Tax Accountant. The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for all tax deliverables including statutory tax obligations, tax planning and structuring.
We offer flexible working arrangements and are also open to a 0.8 FTE part time position.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Independent client management and liaison
- Providing support, training, and development to junior team members
- Building and maintaining relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns for small to medium-sized businesses
- Advising on various business structures and personal/individual tax affairs
- Assisting the bookkeeping team in delivering client services, including resolving queries and working with Xero
- Performing additional ad hoc tasks as needed

**We're Looking for Someone With:**
- A tertiary accounting qualification
- Completed or in-progress CA/CPA certification
- Experience in preparing financial statements and tax returns
- Direct client experience
- Excellent knowledge of Australian taxation legislation
- Proficiency with Xero and the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with Xero Tax and Practice Manager
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A positive, energetic outlook
