The role:
- Managing Client Relationships once settled into processes
- Working closely with the manger
- The preparation of clients work to trial balance including work papers and relevant reconciliations
- The preparation of income tax returns and financial statements
- Dealing with Division 7A, CGT and FBT calculations
- Assisting more junior staff and some review work
- Payroll, Superannuation, Payroll Tax and Workcover processing and calculations for the team's portfolio of payroll clients
- Preparation of BAS’s and IAS’s
- Applying the knowledge of relevant taxation legislation
To be considered you will ideally have;
- Your CA/CPA Qualifications or studying towards
- Strong tax compliance interpretation skills
- 4 - 6 + years’ experience in an Australian Accounting Firm
- Experience producing tax returns and financial statements for companies, trusts and partnerships
- A love of dealing with clients
- Experience with XERO Tax, MYOB AE
- Pride in the work you do
- A passion for helping Australian Businesses
- Excellent communication skills
- A desire to continuously improve your technical ability
