Senior Tax Accountant - Client Relationship Manager

The role:
 

• Managing Client Relationships once settled into processes
• Working closely with the manger
• The preparation of clients work to trial balance including work papers and relevant reconciliations
• The preparation of income tax returns and financial statements
• Dealing with Division 7A, CGT and FBT calculations
• Assisting more junior staff and some review work
• Payroll, Superannuation, Payroll Tax and Workcover processing and calculations for the team's portfolio of payroll clients
• Preparation of BAS’s and IAS’s
• Applying the knowledge of relevant taxation legislation

To be considered you will ideally have;
 

• Your CA/CPA Qualifications or studying towards
• Strong tax compliance interpretation skills
• 4 - 6 + years’ experience in an Australian Accounting Firm
• Experience producing tax returns and financial statements for companies, trusts and partnerships
• A love of dealing with clients 
• Experience with XERO Tax, MYOB AE
• Pride in the work you do
• A passion for helping Australian Businesses
• Excellent communication skills
• A desire to continuously improve your technical ability
