About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager, to join our highly skilled specialist tax team who work on a wide range of clients and industries.  You will be an integral member of the Taxation Division, responsible for managing, reviewing and administering a client list and developing and executing a business development strategy to assist the Taxation Division to meet its business development objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the key contact for clients, developing strong relationships and helping them grow their business.
• Advise clients on complex tax matters, both domestic and international.
• Manage a portfolio of multinational enterprises dealing with all compliance matters.
• Prepare tax provision calculations and tax returns.
• Assist with ATO reviews, audits and disputes.
• Manage a team of junior staff and help them grow and develop their knowledge and career.
• Look for opportunities to win new work for the firm by offering value add services to existing clients and attracting new clients.
• Promote the Firm by writing articles, presentations and attending networking events.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 6 years' experience in Taxation in a Chartered/CPA practice
• Qualified CA/CPA or completed Masters of Tax
• Technically proficient and up-to-date with developments in taxation law, systems, and processes
• Strong understanding of corporate and international tax
• Previous exposure and excellent working relationships with clients
• Exceptional time management skills and ability to meet taxation deadlines.
• Excellent staff leadership skills
• Professional presentation and excellent interpersonal/communication skills
