Our client, Department of Education, are currently seeking 4 x Senior Teacher Recruitment Officers to join a newly formed Teacher Recruitment Team based on site in Education House.
Responsibilities include:
- Undertake activities to support Teacher Recruitment including candidate contact, creating job advertisements and making offers of employment.
- Undertake initial assessment of candidates to determine eligibility and suitability for Permission to Teach and Visas including preparation of key documentation.
- Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with candidates, school hiring managers and recruitment team members to ensure candidate care and delivery of quality Teacher Recruitment services.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in all correspondence and administrative documents.
- Employ high level computer literacy utilising Springboard and ServiceNow to undertake candidate and vacancy tracking.
- Confidently communicate and use clear and appropriate language to provide consultancy services in relation to a diverse range of human resources and recruitment policies and practices relating to Teacher Recruitment services.
- Collaborate with other human resources management officers in areas relevant to the delivery of services and coordinate work to meet deadlines and commitments to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Understand and maintain currency with the legislative frameworks for human resources management within the Queensland Government including Acts, Awards, Directives and Agreements to ensure general advice provided and work undertaken is in compliance with industrial instruments.
- Undertake regular data cleansing of candidate and vacancy information to maintain accuracy to support the team to offer quality client services.

Required Skillsets:
- Previous recruitment industry/education experience would be well regarded
- High level communication skills
- High level organisation and prioritisation skills
- Ability to work effectively with little supervision and as part of a team.
- Ability to rapidly acquire knowledge in talent acquisition (Springboard) and ticketing (ServiceNow) systems.
