Hospitality, Food and Design Technology Teacher

The successful candidate will have a passion for education and a thorough understanding of the needs of adolescent girls and the pedagogy associated with their learning.

The successful candidate will possess:
- Demonstrated qualifications and ability to teach Hospitality Studies (Years 7-12), Food Technology and Digital or Design Technology also an advantage
- Ability to work independently but also part of a collaborative, creative team with a passion for girls reaching their potential
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with students, parents and other stakeholders
- Knowledge of contemporary curriculum issues in subject area
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of child safety principles
- Current First Aid including Asthma and Anaphylaxis or willing to obtain this prior to commencement
The successful applicant must hold Queensland College of Teachers registration and be willing to have their name submitted to the Anglican Church’s Professional Standards Register.
