The Oppor­tu­ni­ty

We seek a Senior Team Mem­ber — Play­grounds and Reac­tive Team who will assist the Team Leader Play­grounds and Reac­tive Team lead the work team in the instal­la­tion, main­te­nance and repairs of equip­ment in line with Aus­tralian stan­dards, plus gen­er­al hor­ti­cul­tur­al activ­i­ties at Coun­cil parks, ovals and asso­ci­at­ed facilities.

Your respon­si­bil­i­ties will include assist­ing with the plan­ning, coor­di­nat­ing, super­vi­sion and on-the-job train­ing of the Play­grounds and Reac­tive Team, under lim­it­ed direc­tion car­ry out instal­la­tion, main­te­nance and repair work on Coun­cil equip­ment includ­ing paving and fenc­ing, under­take a range of hor­ti­cul­tur­al activ­i­ties par­tic­u­lar­ly mow­ing, spray­ing, slash­ing, top-dress­ing, scar­i­fy­ing, fer­til­iz­ing and aer­at­ing turfed areas, per­form oth­er Parks and Gar­dens sup­port duties with­in capa­bil­i­ties and/​or con­sis­tent with the lev­el of this posi­tion as required.
