Senior Technical Consultant - Dynamics 365 F&O

The Role

As a Senior Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Technical Consultant, you will work closely with our clients across a variety of industries, advising on how to use D365 F&O technology to meet their business objectives. You’ll work in partnership to understand their key objectives then design and consult on technology decisions and best approach. You’ll be our expert in the D365 F&O platform, the absolute go-to in your region and you’ll be comfortable working with C-level executives, leveraging your specialist knowledge to add value to all your projects.

What you’ll own:

• Lead and co-ordinate integration activities on Dynamics 365 projects
• Participate in client meetings to gather business integration requirements and mapping them accordingly
• Perform gap analysis from requirements gathering to the solution proposed
• Complete integration design of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and essential third-party products, including Microservices, messages based, SOA, API’s and file based approaches
• Build integrations to perform data conversion tasks and additional integrations based on requirements using Dynamics 365 and Azure Integration Services
• Participate in all functions relating to feature integration testing, solution testing, and user acceptance testing

• An understanding of the development life cycle and support of existing extensions
• Demonstrated experience with implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics AX/Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
• Demonstrated experience in establishing priorities, taking care of shifting priorities, and handling numerous time-sensitive projects with multiple target dates
• Strong programming skills using: X++, C#, .NET, and SQL
• Familiarity with SOAP, REST, OData
• 2 or more years experience with some, or all, of the following Microsoft Azure components - Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus, Function Apps, Data Factory, Cosmos and API Management
• Experience with Logic Apps and Azure Cloud
• Experience integrating applications with external systems, including but not limited to - Integration between various third-party systems and D365 F&O - Integrations between D365 F&O & CE
• Current D365 F&O Development certification
• Knowledge of Microsoft Life Cycle Services and Data Migration Framework
• Exposure to Azure DevOps
• Previous experience with operational technologies in Supply Chain, Warehousing, Fulfillment, or 3pl/4pl party logistics solutions - Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R1-R3 - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
